Want to make your own yarn?  Want to get in touch with the past?

Come on in and learn how to spin using one of the oldest tools in yarn making - the drop spindle.

The two, two-hour workshops will introduce the basic of spinning (spindle, wool, niddy noddy, string twist, plying, and more).  Discuss staple length, spinning techniques, spindle types and other aspects of spinning.

The workshop includes one 2.0 oz bundle of Corriedale roving.  (Corriedale is a perfect fibre for learning the basics of spinning.) and two, two-hour classes of group instruction in a relaxed "spin night" atmosphere.

Workshop will be limited to six students per session.
