Roving

Our hand-dyed roving comes in three types of fibers and in an amazing variety of color ways. We dye our roving in gradient, variegated, and tonal colors.

Braided into a 4 oz (113 g) or 8 oz (226 g) hank, our Not Sox Yet is 100% Superwash Shaniko; it is light, fluffy and perfect for spinning yarns used in projects which may need more frequent washing like socks, gloves, and hats.

Braided into a 4 oz (113 g) or 8 oz (226 g) hank, our More Than Sox is 23 Micron Non-Superwash Shaniko and is a more luxurious fiber for spinning yarns for shawls, cowls, and sweaters where you want that lovely silkiness next to your softer skin. Perfect for all felting projects.

Braided into a 4 oz (113 g) or 8 oz (226 g) hand, our Silk'n Shaniko is a combination of 80% Non-Superwash Shaniko Wool and 20% Mulberry Silk.

Please Note: The Fibre Studio custom dyes most of our yarns just for you. This process may take from 2-4 weeks before the yarn ships.
