The Fibre Studio is offering a Lost in Time Crochet-a-Long with Carol for one of our best-selling kits. The pattern is by Johanna Lindahl. This event is ideal for intermediate crocheters and confident/adventurous beginners who know how to crochet but would like to learn new tricks.
The Crochet-a-Long will run on Wednesday afternoons, from 1:30 - 3pm. Altough this event is less structured than a class, Carol will be available at The Fibre Studio to offer recommendations when selecting yarn. She can also recommend additional resources as well as guidance and wisdom along the way as you complete your project.
After you enroll, it is up to you whether you want to dedicate the time each week to sit-and-focus-without interruptions... or if you'd rather just drop-in casually for one-on-one attention while you fiddle through a tricky bit. Or just socalize while you tie your yarn into knots. No judements here.
Crochet-a-Long fee covers hands-on instruction if you need it, how to use stich counters and checklists, demonstrations and practice for each stitch type, and eventually Carol can guide you through those last harrowing rows as you tempt fate for "one more row"... as well as tips to make the whole process easier.
This pattern is available on Ravelry and also available for FREE the on the Mijo Crochet website. Please print the pattern prior to the first event, if you prefer to work with printed patterns.

Yarn Selection:
- We have a few kits available in our original colorway, Nantahala.
- Our newest shop sample uses a 2oz London Fog Splash Kit and one additional skein of Walkabout Fingering in Aubergine. The new sample is on display at the shop and it's absolutely breathtaking.
- Any of our 2oz Splash kits will look absolutely perfect! Add one more Walkabout skein to ensure you have enough yarn to complete the shawl.
- Four colors of Fingering-weight yarn. For this project, we recommend using our Walkabout Fingering. It's a high-twist yarn which yeilds spectacular stitch definition.
Please note: If you would like custom-dyed yarn for this project, please visit the shop in person or order online a week prior to the first day you attend to give our dyers time to dye and dry your custom order. Students taking the class receive a 15% discount on all class supplies/yarn.
