Our next sweater class is the Drawing Sweater by Tomomi Yoshimoto. The pattern is available for purchase here on Ravelry. Please purchase and print the pattern prior to the first class.
This project is knit using sport weight yarn. Our Studio Sport yarn will work beautifully in this pattern. Also, consider our Merino Bamboo Fingering or Silk'n Linen carried double. Any of these yarns will work well to create a beautiful addition to your wardrobe.
The Drawing sweater is knit top down in the round and features a large flower motif for half of the sweater. It uses US4(3.5mm) and US6(4.00mm) needles. If you do not use Shorties or the magic loop method for knitting small circumfrences, you will need US4(3.5mm) and US6(4.00mm) DPNs for sleeves.
Sizes: M(LL, 3XL) - chest: 105(118, 131.5) cm/41.25(46.5, 51.75)”.
The sample on Ravelry uses 2 colors of MC. If you want to knit with one color, please combine the yardage of MC1 and MC2.
MC1:110(130, 140) m/120(142, 153) yds
MC2:625(755, 930) m/683(825, 1050) yds
