These seven-color Corriedale Sliver sample packs of roving weigh 100g. The fiber diameter is 27-30 microns and the staple length is approximately 11cm (4.25"). 

Corriedale wool has a defined, even crimp and is smooth and easy to spin or felt. You can spin a fine to medium woolen, worsted or semi-worsted yarn. Corriedale will bulk after washing and has good elasticity. It is ideal for learning how to spin and creating felted garments.

Ashford Sliver is 100% pure New Zealand wool, grown on the sheep farms of the South Island. The wool has good length that is free from breaks, has high bulk, brightness, low vegetable matter and is the correct micron.
