Store Policies

The Fibre Studio at Yarns to Dye For makes every effort to be customer-focused and operate with complete transparency. Our store's operating policies are as follows:

Refund Policy

**COVID-19 Return Policy**
All sales are final. While COVID-19 safety mandates are in place, we cannot accept returns or process exchanges or refunds.

Standard Return Policy
We accept unused items in the product's original packaging and labels. Call or send us an email describing your reason for returning the items. We can exchange the item, credit your card, or provide an in-store credit. We will not, however, be able to refund your shipping costs unless we have made an error on your order which prompted the return.

 

In-Store and Local Pick Up Policy

If you purchase your order online, you have the option to select "Local Pick Up" which allows our local customers to paying shipping costs. Products that are in stock are available immediately. For custom orders, we'll contact you when your yarn is available for pick up.

**NOTE** If you process payment using PayPal (or another third party) please note the "Local Pick Up" option is not available. Please indicate in your order notes that you would like to pick up your order in person and we will happily refund your shipping cost. 

 

Shipping Policy

For products in-stock and available, we make it our goal to ship your order within two business days. If there is an issue with your order, we will contact you using the information you provided during the check-out process. Custom orders will be added to our dye queue and you will be contacted when the shipping label is created.

Standard shipping rates, based on product weight, are calculated during checkout. You have the option and opportunity to select Priority shipping (or Express shipping, if available) during the check-out process. 

Every package we send includes a USPS or UPS tracking number which can be tracked on their respective websites.

For multiple orders placed within a few days of each other, or orders containing sale codes, we will happily combine flat rate shipping costs, if we can. But most of our shipping rates are calculated on weight.

Your Privacy
We may collect data and/or personal information such as your name, contact information, shipping information, and billing information (such as credit card account data). We collect the data you provide to us through your use of our website, when you place an order, or sign up for our mailing list. We may combine the personal information we collect from you with additional information from other third-party sources (such as PayPal), however we do not have access to the information you provide to third-party sources.

Third Parties and Social Media. Our website contains links to third-parties. Such third parties have their own policies that govern their collection, use, and disclosure of information. We suggest that you read their privacy policies to learn about their practices.

Social media provides tools that many of our customers use and enjoy, and we include links to various social media platforms on our websites. If you interact with these social media tools through our websites, your experience on those social media sites will be governed by the privacy and other policies of those sites. So, the privacy settings you have chosen on those sites will determine the degree to which your information is made public. We encourage you to choose your privacy settings on those sites accordingly. 

Information We Post.  We occasionally use social media platforms for contests, give-aways, and promotions. We will not share your name or information on social media platforms without asking your permission.

To stop email communications. If you receive email communications from us and want to opt out of receiving such communications in the future, you can click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the promotional email.
