Perfectly combined to ensure a joyous and festive experience, these kits include 25 colors of SPLASH Gradient dyed yarn and/or mohair in a coordinating array of subtle colors you might see on a winter wonderland stroll. Each option may be purchased alone or may be combined.
Option One: A Walk In The Clouds - This option includes 25 mini skeins of Kidsilk Mohair in colors that match/coordinate with A Walk In The Woods. Each skein has approximately 160 yards | 18g of 72% Superfine Kid Mohair, 28% Silk, for a total of 4,000 yards | 450g. We designed A Walk in the Clouds to have enough yardage to be a stand-alone festive kit by providing enough mohair to carry THREE strands--creating a fluffy, cloudy, sport/DK-weight yarn.
Option Two: A Walk In The Woods -This option is a little more "grounded" than the mohair choices and offers 25 mini skeins of SPLASH Gradient dyed Walkabout Fingering yarn in a coordinating array of subtle colors you might see as you stroll through any lush forest or woodland area. Each mini skein has approximately 98 yards | 22g of 100% Superwash Merino, for total yardage of 2,450 yards | 567g. Our Walkabout Fingering yarn may be carried as a single strand, doubled for a DK weight, or carried doubled with one strand of Kid Silk for a Worsted/Aran weight.
Both of the above options come with pattern and project codes for at least one sweater and/or wrap, beautiful gifts and surprises *wink* we LOVE finding extra special, high quality goodies to share.
Option Three: A Dust of Snow Half-Vent - Kid Mohair mini skeins in the same 25 colors as A Walk In The Clouds full festive kit-- just HALF the yardage! Approximately 2000 yards-- just enough to coordinate with A Walk in the Woods fingering.
A Dust of Snow Half-Vent may be purchased either on it’s own as a full Festive kit (including the same pattern codes and festive surprises as available in the other two kits) OR as a yarn-only add-on to either of the full kits (WITHOUT the pattern codes and festive surprises).
