We are offering a class to knit the Whitmoor Sweater by Ami Lowden. The sweater may be knit using a fingering weight yarn held with mohair, or using a DK weight for all you non-mohair peeps out there.
This is a very versatile sweater which may be knit in the round as a pullover or may be knit as a Cardigan. There are also two type of sleeves, bishop or tapered.
Participants will learn;
- top down sweater construction
- knitting in the round
- reading a chart
- lace pattern
- picking up stitches
Cardigan knitting construction will also;
- create buttonholes
- button band
The class will be taught over four weekends.
