The Emilia Shawl (free on Ravelry) is a light and swingy shawl/poncho. It's an easy to knit, easy to wear pattern. Using size 10 needles and aggressive blocking, Emilia's lace opens into a flattering hemline--which is knit as you go!
No yarn chicken! One skein... and you're done!
The Emilia Shawl pattern can be easily sized up or down... just knit until it fits!
Our shop sample used a single skein of our Starlite yarn (385 yards). But it could easily be adapted to use two skeins... or any fingering weight yarn. Try it in Walkabout Bling (490 yards) for a larger poncho.
