If you are like us, you have wanted to knit the Goldwing by Jennifer Steingass of Knit.Love.Wool since it was published.
Goldwing is a top down, seamless circular yoke sweater with colorwork sleeves and an applied I-cord cuff. This project knits up quickly using DK or worsted weight yarn. Using just 2 colors, the contrast and main colors switch at the midway point of the yoke for both dark on light and light on dark color-play. Options for your choice of rolled or ribbed neckline are included. This pattern is suitable for stranded colorwork beginners with rhythmic and easy to knit motifs. The feathers and colors were inspired by the Golden Snitch from Harry Potter!
Check out the projects section of the Goldwing Sweater pattern on Ravelry for design/color ideas.
